SARGODHA: The police on Monday claimed to have arrested 15 drug paddlers and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons from their possession.
Police said that on the direction of DPO Sajjad Hassan Manjh, police teams of different police station conducted raids within the areas of their jurisdiction and arrested 15 accused and recovered 2.823 Kg Heroin, 1.151 Kg Hashish, 176 bottles of liquor, 02 Pistol 30 bore and 2 guns 12 bore along with number of bullets and cartridges from them.
The accused were identified as Jaffar, Muhammad Imtiaz, Muhammad Khan, Maqsood, Gul Sher, Nasir Iqbal, Muhammad Saleem, Abdul Manan, Akbar Ali, Aamer Maseeh, Mazhar Shahzab and others.
Police have also arrested 10 proclaimed offenders and court absconders involved in different heinous crimes. Cases have been registered against the accused.
