OTTAWA: It’s the end of 2014, and Google’s Nexus 9 has been one of the most purchased tablets this year, so if you’re looking at getting one for 2015, then there’s a small sale going on at Best Buy Canada right now. The retailer is slashing $30 off the initial price of the Nexus 9 (both storage variations), and the offer will last until January 1st.

Given that you live in Canada, this is a pretty good offer which is available mostly in Best Buy’s physical stores, where you’ll also find some interesting discounts on HTC-produced devices. The HTC deal is no longer available online, but you can still find the Nexus 9 one.

With the discount applied, you can get the 16GB Nexus 9 for $399, and the 32GB version of the tablet for $499. That’s not a bad price at all considering the impressive hardware that this device features. Shipping is completely free of charge, so you have no reason to miss out on this deal. Some may consider that $30 is too low of a discount to bother, but it’s great for those who intended to get the device anyway.

HTC Google Nexus 9 Canada deals Google launched two new Nexus devices this year, the Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9. They both had a smashing success, leaving stores out of stock within three minutes, in some cases.

This was heavily due to the fact that the two devices were the first ones to get the latest revision of Android, which is 5.0 Lollipop. Following their release, we could barely find any Nexus devices in stock, but Google decided to refill the Play Store’s stocks every week in order to keep up with the huge levels of demand, and later on, Motorola decided to take action as well. Anyway, finding a Nexus 9 isn’t such a problem nowadays, and you should definitely get one, because the Nexus 9 tech specs are some of the best available right now.
