SYDNEY: The new 348kW 5.0 litre V8 GS F was expected to hit Australia later this year, but Lexus has today confirmed that a 2016 debut is on the cards, with exact timing still to be confirmed.
While local fans continue to wait (what’s one more year after nearly a decade of rumours?), the GS F will make its first ‘on road’ appearance at this month’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.
Piloted by Gazoo Racing driver Mike Conway, the GS F will be whipped up Goodwood’s 1.86km hill-climb course.
When it’s not roaring up the hill, the GS F will be on display alongside the company’s new RC F GT3 racer and the now legendary LFA supercar.
