DELHI: Bharti Airtel has expanded its 4G services to Moga which has now become the 11th town in Punjab to receive the next generation network.

Manu Sood who serves as Airtel’s CEO for Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, said that customers who sign up for the speedier network can look forward to an ‘electrifying’ Internet browsing experience courtesy of the company’s 4G home Wi-Fi service.

There’s little need to wax eloquent on what the availability of 4G services means to Airtel customers, of course. Users should technically be able to download a standard length movie in less than 5 minutes. Hooking up multiple devices to the same connection through a Wi-Fi hotspot won’t hurt either and let’s not even get started on YouTube, Vimeo and other sites.

Airtel’s 4G coverage should be capable of delivering buffer free streaming of videos over the web. The operator is the biggest telecom company in India and is already busy trying to cement its future too. It’s been signing deals with various brands with the idea of keeping its top spot in the market as the country continues to pine for more data at faster speeds.
