MELBOURNE: Ford Ranger facelift model has been photographed completely undisguised during tests in Thailand.
Let’s back in last-year, where in November 2014 Ford Asia Pacific provided the first preview of the new Ranger and earlier this year we saw the range-topping Wildtrak model in a spy photo. Now we have new car spy photo, probably showing the single-cab entry-level pickup.
The vehicle based on the Ford Everest, the model comes with redesigned headlights and the same hexagonal radiator grille. The “smarter, safer, smoother, stronger” Ranger will go on sale later this year along with the new Everest.
The current version of the Ford Ranger is available with 150 horsepower (110 kW) and 375 Nm (277 pound-foot) four-cylinder 2.2-liter turbodiesel and a 200 horsepower (147 kW) and 470 Nm (347 pound-foot) five-cylinder 3.2-liter TDCi. They are offered with either a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional automatic transmission.
