HTC One M9 Android 5.0 Lollipop golden edition leaked, includes 3 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, BoomSound speakers

KUALA LUMPUR: HTC has never had an easy time keeping upcoming devices a secret, and that trend seems to be continuing with what is probably the company’s most important flagship smartphone in the last few years. The HTC One M9 has once again made it to the internet in the form of photos that show the back of the gold version of the handset.

The new pictures show the same design that has leaked before, and once again indicate the presence of a 20-megapixel sensor (or at least one that has a higher resolution than HTC’s UltraPixel cameras).

There doesn’t seem to be any secondary sensor present, refuting recent murmurs of the phone having a dual camera setup on the back, like the one on the HTC One M8. It’s possible the images show a non-final design, but with such little time left before the M9 is slated to be unveiled, we’re probably looking at a final unit.

HTC is set to take the wraps off the One M9 – and possibly the M9 Plus – at MWC next month. Specs of the two devices are expected to include a Snapdragon 810 processor, Quad HD displays, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, stereo BoomSound speakers, and Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI sprinkled on top.

The Plus model is also said to feature a fingerprint sensor in the form of a home button at the bottom of the device, and a Windows Phone version of the standard M9 is supposedly in the works as well.
