TORONTO: Canadian Border officials say 11 kilograms of suspected cocaine was seized at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
According to a news release issued by the Canadian Border Service Agency, CBSA officers were monitoring baggage arriving on a flight from Curacao.
A detector dog directed officers to two suitcases and after further inspection, 11 bricks of a substance believed to be cocaine was discovered.
The packages were turned over to Peel Regional Police and officials say an investigation is ongoing.
