LAHORE: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif, speaking at a seminar, has reiterated that the government will soon overcome power crisis, announcing decreasing the tariffs.
The minister said that the government was serious in building Bhasha Dam and the Neelum Jehlum Project would also be completed within year and a half time period.
He said that Wapda was able to build link canals, dams and other projects only because there was no such commission at that time. “There would have been no Taj Mahal had there been a planning commission in Moghul era,” he added.
