Bungie reveals Destiny to get 1.1.1 patch at end of February with weapons rebalance

TOKYO: Bungie reveals Destiny will get one major update before House of Wolves release sometimes in the second quarter.

The 1.1.1 patch will arrive before the end of February, the developer said, but it didn’t share many details on what it will add to the game.

However, Bungie did explain planned weapons rebalance. The key takeaway message is that pulse rifles will be buffed, but auto rifles, fusion rifles, and hand cannons will be downgraded a little. Shotguns will get a strange sort of rebalancing making them less effective in PvP but better in PvE.
