China opens new Customs office at Beichen

BEIJING: The General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China was released information that a Customs Office opened in Beichen for business stationed by Tianjin Customs District.

Beichen District of Tianjin Municipality, which is located along the North Canal, has great geographical advantage. There are now 1,213 enterprises in Beichen District that are authorized to do import and export business. The newly opened Customs Office in Beichen District, which shoulders such responsibilities as Customs administration over processing trade, Customs control and Customs management over enterprises, will provide service for the import and export enterprises located in the District and in the adjacent areas as well. What’s more, as a unit stationed by Tianjin Customs District, this Customs Office will serve as an important platform for Tianjin Customs District to further support local economic development and improve Customs control.
