DUBLIN: Ireland customs seized estimated value of €4.9 million drugs in a west Dublin industrial estate.
Gardaí at Clondalkin carried out a planned search at Bluebell Industrial Estate on Tuesday as part of an ongoing investigation.
Some 32.5kg of a drug suspected to be heroin and 0.5kg of what is believed to be cocaine were seized.
A Garda spokesman said a handgun and a quantity of ammunition were also seized during the search.To date, this investigation has led to the seizure of heroin and cocaine with an estimated value of €5.2 million, five firearms, ammunition and cash,” the spokesman said.
