LAHORE: Excise and Taxation department has seized documents of internationally known pop singer Ali Zafar in DHA Lahore.
According to Excise officials, Ali Zafar was driving his car in Lalak Chowk area of Defense Housing Authority when the excise team stopped him at a check point. The excise team seized documents of unregistered car of Ali Zafar. Bitter arguments were also seen on the spot between Ali and excise officials. Ali Zafar assured the excise officials that he will soon register his vehicle. After surety the excise team allowed him to go but seized the documents of his vehicle.
Excise and Taxation Department is taking strict action against token tax defaulters and unregistered vehicles across the province.
