TEHRAN: Iranian Customs and Azerbaijan Customs officers discussed checkpoint issues in the meeting at Gosha Tepe customs post of the Bilasuvar customs administration and announce that Iranian Customs checkpoint to operate all day after Novruz holiday.
According to administration’s press service, the meeting was held in accordance with the provisions of Memorandum of Understanding signed between Azerbaijan Customs Service and Iranian Customs Administration.
Moreover, they also discussed switching to 24-hour operation, fines imposed on fuel tanks of vehicles coming from Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and other issues.
Chairman of Bilasuvar customs administration Seyavush Suri expressed his assurance that final works for switching to 24-hour operation have already been completed and it will be realized after Novruz holiday.
