New Delhi: Samsung will pull out a lot of its usual pre-installed apps and make the Galaxy S6 lighter with Microsoft apps like Office, OneDrive, OneNote and Skype SamMobile source has revealed.

Other speculations doing the rounds also suggest that the Samsung S6 will have a three-sided spill display and the company will unveil it during its Galaxy Unpacked event at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015 (MWC) in Barcelona.

Samsung’s earlier take at the side display was seen in its Galaxy Note Edge smartphone that featured a main display curving around the right edge of the phone to create a side display for notifications and one-tap access to apps, headlines and tasks.

With its slumping sales in the smartphone market, the curved screen is touted to help rekindle buyer-interest in Samsung smartphones.

Analysts say Samsung is under immense pressure to hang on to its market share, with a lot resting on the launch of its next flagship Galaxy S6 high-end smartphone due around March. It will need to ensure that the phone does not disappoint in order to keep its global market share from slipping further.
