Customs superintendent challenges his transfer in Customs Services Tribunal

MULTAN: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Superintendent Siraaj Malik has filed appeal in Customs Services Tribunal against his transfer. Customs Service Tribunal has accepted appeal for hearing.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation has issued the notification for the transfer of Superintendent Siraaj Malik for transfer of duties in the Islamabad Customs .Superintendent siraaj Malik has filed appeal along with two others inspectors against transfer of duties in Islamabad Customs. Inspector Hamid Habib from Sadiqabad region and Inspector Tariq Mehmood from Dera Ghazi Khan have also been transferred to Islamabad.

All three transferred employees of Customs Intelligence and Investigation were facing disciplinary actions on performance during the work. They were transferred four months before but they have filed appeals against their posting in Islamabad. Customs Intelligence and Investigation has deputed the Superintendent Ali Akbar in place of Superintendent Siraaj Malik.

Superintendent Ali Akbar has joined his duties in Multan Customs Intelligence and Investigation after his transfer from Peshawar. Now Siraaj and Ali Akbar both are holding charge of Superintendent at Multan Customs Intelligence and Investigation.

Tribunal will decide regarding transfer of Siraaj Malik on February 24.
