LAHORE: The employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) have urged authorities of the Regional Tax Office (RTO) to improve security of the office and employees.
The Lahore FBR employees have condemned the terrorist attack at Qila Gujjar Sing Police Line Lahore in whcih innocent people were killed. They said that security conditions were not satisfactory at the office as the walk through gate even at the main entrance was not functional. There were many loopholes regarding the security of the building that have been highlighted before the persons concern but to no avail.
Anyone can enter into the premises of the building without the proper checking of identity of visitors at gate. The security personnel at the main gate do not have any weapon to overcome the uncertain situation.
FBR employees have urged authorities to get the services of private security company or deploy experienced security personnel.
