20% investment share: Pakistani companies enjoying all businesses opportunities in Ajman Free Zone

KARACHI: Pakistan is the second largest investor in Ajman Free Zone with over 20 per cent companies out of total registered companies in the zone.

This was revealed Ajman Free Zone Customer Service Head Ali Hussain Fahmi, while addressing a media briefing in Karachi.

This 20pc share of Pakistani investors in Ajman Free Zone is a proof of mutually business opportunities that exists between the two countries. Pakistani companies are taking full advantage of business opportunities in the Middle East, UAE, Ali added.

Ali said that investors from around the globe are taking keen interest in setting up their businesses in Ajman Free Zone and the number of investors is still increasing from around the globe.

He urged Pakistani manufacturers and traders to establish their regional presence to tap the opportunities in Middle East.  He informed that a two-member high profile delegation from AFZ will meet Pakistani investors in a Seminar on Thursday 19th February to further explore the growing inward investments from Pakistan.

AFZ General Manager Mahmood Al Hashemi said, “We want to enhance business relations, promote trade and strengthen ties with Pak businessmen.” The road show is aimed at Pakistanis that would like to spread their operations internationally especially in the Middle Eastern region, whereby the UAE serves as a springboard and a centre point to enter the regional markets, he added.
