ISLAMABAD – The latest burglary worth about Rs30 million at the farmhouse of former Senate chairman Wasim Sajjad has put a big question mark on the performance of Islamabad Police as robbery, theft, burglary, street crimes and other such cases are order of the day in capital territory.
Four robbers had made of with cash and valuables worth over Rs30 million from the house of Wasim Sajjad. The robbers looted foreign and local currency worth over Rs20 million, 150 tola gold ornaments, six costly watches and two mobile phones. The armed men entered the house situated at Shahzad Town

Several areas in the capital including Shezad Town and Koral have turned into dens for criminals and robbers, who carry out their activities with impunity. Around 270 hardcore criminals and offenders roam the streets of Zia Masjid, Khanna, Iqbal Town, Madina Town and other areas.
