“The Aqua Y2 Remote can be used as a universal remote for TV, AC, set-top boxes, DVD players, speakers and fans. Run on the application ZaZa Remote, users can select the list of product to be connected with the smartphone. The feature saves the model number for the products with which the function is operational. It allows the user to configure the phone as a remote with the synced model,” says Intex.

The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) Intex Aqua Y2 Remote features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. It packs a 1.2GHz dual-core (MediaTek MT6572) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The Aqua Y2 Remote sports a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The 4GB of built-in storage can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Connectivity options on the Intex Aqua Y2 Remote include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and FM radio. It packs a 1500mAh battery, weighs 110 grams, and is available in three colours – grey, black and white.

Last week, the company had launched its first Android 5.0 Lollipop-based smartphone, the Aqua Star L, priced at Rs. 6,990. The smartphone is exclusively available on Snapdeal in Black and White colours.
