Accompanied by MPAs Arif Yousuf and Mehmood Khan, Yaseen Khalil said that the loadshedding has been prolonged to 16 to 18 hours in routine, which had made life of people miserable. He demanded the federal government to refrain Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali from intervening into the affairs of Peshawar Electric Supply Company otherwise the situation would get worse.

Yaseen Khalil said that 18-hour loadshedding has destroyed the business activities in the province. The lawmakers also criticised Wapda officials in Peshawar.
