Customs seizes non-duty paid imported items

MULTAN: Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has impounded imported juicers, irons, shampoos and cloths during an operation.

Anti-Smuggling Organisation took action against the smuggled goods at a private place in Chowk  Sarwar Shaheed near District Layyah. Customs team recovered 72 Japan-made Irons, 4 imported juicers machines and 79200 sachets of smuggled shampoo. Pantene and Head & Shoulder sachets were Saudi Arabia origin.

ASO also recovered 1624 yard imported silk cloth during an operation near Dera Ghazi Khan. The worth of Indian-made cloth was Rs 800,000. The smuggled cloth and goods were coming from Peshawar and were destined for Multan.

Inspector Zia ur Rehman Bhatti leaded the operation against smuggled goods.
