NASSCOM has developed ‘Qualification Packs’ (skills required for industry). Observing that there is a gap between the skill sets imparted by academic institutions to students and industry requirements, he said the ‘packs’ are aimed at bridging that gap. The JNTUH, which has agreed to be on board, would now have to re-work on the pedagogy of the teaching material to ensure that it gets aligned with these ‘Packs’, he said.
