Lahore: Rangers asks LFU Wagha to submit record of employees

LAHORE: The Punjab Rangers asked the Pakistan Customs Land Freight Unit (LFU) Wagha authorities to submit the record of all their employees performing duties at the border.

Talking to Customs Today, an official said that Rangers are taking different measures to improve the security level at the border to secure all employees and visiting citizens.

He added that coordination among all departments was essential for sound security, and in this regard, Rangers have asked all other official organisation to submit record of their employees and their vehicles.

Accordingly, LFU Wagha Deputy Collector Tauqeer Dar has directed all employees to submit their information, like name, CNIC number and vehicle number, in the prescribed format.

It is important to mention here that security agencies are taking these measures after the suicide bomb attack at the Wagha border.
