SYDNEY: Jeeps has decided to launch its new Jeep Renegade Traihawk: Hard Steel concept at Geneva Motor Show. The new Jeep concept is featured with  brush steel body, matte black colour contrast, roof bars, wing mirror covers, 16-inch alloy wheels, side rubbing strips, bonnet air vents, fenders and bumpers.

Intended to show off the “potential of a model that provide countless customisation options, while also providing an outlook for potential future Mopar accessories dedicated to the new Renegade,” the Renegade Hard Steel concept sadly won’t make it into production. The Renegade Hard Steel showcar adopts larger BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres, raised suspension, skid plate engraved with “Trailhawk” and bonnet performance.

That’s great, but how cool is the trailer which, in the official statement barely rates a mention. In the trailer there’s a touch-screen display shows all the features of the new Uconnect LIVE system, a service platform that allows access to Internet Music (Deezer), Internet Radio (TuneIn), News (Reuters), real time Traffic (Tom Tom LIVE) as well as Social Network (Facebook and Twitter). This multi-media technology will be available on Renegade models from June this year (depending on the market).
