LONDON: FAB Design has developed a comprehensive cosmetic package for the McLaren 12C Spider. The new styling kit is compatible with the coupe as well and has been labeled “Vayu” (air/wind) after the name of a Vedic God. It was designed for those who want to “optically align” their MP4-12C Coupe and Spider to the more recent 650S models but with a more aggressive body enhanced by the wider wings and side skirts.
Also noticeable are the larger air intakes of the front spoiler along with a beefier rear diffuser while the stock wheels were replaced with a 20-inch EVOLUTION ultra-light three-piece forged wheel set wrapped around in 275/25 ZR20 front and 325/30 ZR20 rear Dunlop tires. There’s also a custom sports exhaust system boosting the engine’s output by 32 HP (23 kW) along with a series of cabin tweaks such as aluminum pedals, custom steering wheel, new sport seats and unique floor mats.
The McLaren MP4-12C / 650S customization program developed by FAB Design will be on display starting tomorrow at the 85th Geneva Motor Show.
