RIYADH: Saudi Customs seized nearly 1.89 million captagon pills hidden inside apple boxes at border point near Kuwait.
The drug-like pills were wrapped in plastic bags concealed under apples in wooden boxes in a truck that was on its way to Saudi Arabia.
Customs men searched the apple boxes after suspecting the way they were piled up inside the truck. It did not identify the truck driver or say whether the vehicle had come from nearby Kuwait.
