KARACHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is likely to hold CFO conference in Karachi and Islamabad on 17th March and 19th March. The theme of the conference is Sustaining Excellence – Shifting Gears.
President ICAP, Yacoob Suttar, in a briefing, said, “We facilitate the professionals in overcoming many challenges to achieve new milestones in business through this distinguished platform.”
He said besides serving as the corporate leaders of the industry, ICAP members are also acting as seasoned regulators of the financial sector.
Khalilullah Shaikh, Chairman Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB) Committee ICAP and Chief Internal Auditor K- Electric Ltd, said six years ago PAIB Committee of ICAP took initiative to reach out to its members in industry and provide them with a platform to discuss debate and seek pragmatic solutions of emerging business and finance issues.
Besides being a resourceful platform to learn about evolving strategies and dynamics of business, finance and accountancy, the event also involves recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan members for corporate sector through professional excellence awards.
