The sources further informed that the Chairman FBR is likely to meet the business community including the office-bearers of FPCCI, KCCI and APCAA.

It is pertinent to mention here that this would be a second visit of Bajwa to Karachi in 20days, as he visited Custom House-Karachi on Feb-17.

During that visit, Chairman FBR along with Member Customs Nisar Muhammad Ali Khan held meetings with the Customs officers of South Region including Sindh and Baluchistan provinces. During the meetings, the issues pertaining to revenue collection and anti-smuggling activities were discussed.

Both the FBR high officials asked Customs officers to ensure proper and effective strategy in order to achieve the revenue targets and curb smuggling of contraband items from all borders linked with the South Region.
