GENEVA: Skoda has originally unveiled its new generation, the Superb, a few weeks ago, over the web; the brand new Skoda Superb is finally here as it is making its world debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

The flagship model is getting an evolutionary design, similar to the one used by its smaller brothers, with the slender grille, the optional bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED DRLs, with the standard LED taillights, the shorter front overhangs, sculpted hood, a slightly sloping roofline and an 80 mm longer wheelbase.

Safety tweaks include the Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Crew Protective Assist, Lane Assist and more.

The engine lineup is made out of petrol burners rated between 125 HP (92 kW) and 280 HP (206 kW) and the diesel units are producing between 120 HP (88 kW) and 190 HP (140 kW). All engines, except for the entry-level petrol burner, are available with the brand new dual clutch transmission. Four of them can also be ordered with the all-wheel drive system too.
