SYDNEY: Mercedes-Benz of Lakeside literally worked through the night to make their customers some of the very first drivers to be on the road in a 15 plate car.
The Heron Way Retailer pulled out all the stops to ensure that customers who ordered a new 15-plate Mercedes-Benz could drive it off the forecourt on the stroke of midnight on 1st March the date that the registration was first available.
Over 45 customers took part in Mercedes-Benz of Lakeside’s Grand Midnight Handover experience. With the retailer having made all the necessary arrangements and sorted all the paperwork in advance of the handover, all customers had to do was arrive at Mercedes-Benz of Lakeside. They were then able to enjoy refreshments and run through any queries on their exciting new Mercedes-Benz or smart with the retailer’s sales and after sales teams.
As the clock ticked down to midnight, customers were invited to come outside where their new cars which spanned from the just launched new smart for two to the formidable ML-Class SUV were all lined up and ready to go.
