KUWAIT CITY: Two Asians smugglers were nailed by Ahmadi securitymen for running a liquor factory in Sabah Al-Ahmad area. The officers confiscated 340 bottles of ready-made liquor and 10 drums in their possession.
A security source said Ahmadi Security Chief Brigadier Ali Al-Marri was earlier notified about two Asians brewing liquor inside a room in Sabah Al-Ahmad area. Acting on information, a team of detectives was formed to follow up the issue, and security operatives raided the room and seized the contraband. The suspects admitted during questioning that they manufactured alcohol for sale. They were referred with the items to concerned authorities.
