Land record computerisation, online availability in Punjab till May 31

SIALKOT: Computerisation of land record and its online availability in Punjab province would complete till May 31, 2015, Board of Revenue Punjab member Syed Hassan Raza Jaffery said.

Addressing a meeting for reviewing the performance of district administration regarding land computerization, he added that no negligence on the part of revenue officers would be tolerated. Performance report regarding land computerisation be submitted on daily basis, he said. He directed that the DCO should take strict action against those negligent officers.

He noted that land mafia should be eliminated in district DG Khan and facilitate the people. He directed that after bifurcation of urban and rural areas in tehsil Kot Chutta and Tunsa, a comprehensive report of revenue collection be submitted.

Land computerisation was being carried out on a war footing throughout the district, DCO Nadeemul Rehman said. He said that 75 percent land computerisation had been completed. Computerisation record of 192 villages out of 828 had been made online.
