Pakistan to receive 325mmcfd LNG on April 1, 400mmcfd by end-2015, Dar told

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan would receive 325mmcfd of LNG on April 1, 2015 while the quantity will gradually reach 400 mmcfd by the end of the year, a meeting was told.

The meeting was chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. The LNG will be used in power sector to replace expensive fuel. Dr Waqar Masood, the secretary finance, gave an update on the implementation status of various initiatives.
