NEW DELHI: Motorola has announced to launch Moto Max with a new name of Moto Turbo to India for Rs 41,999. Moto Turbo will be featured with Android 5.0 Lollipop, 2.7GHz quad core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage and 21 MP rear camera.

The Motorola Moto Turbo is basically a rebranded Moto Maxx which is also known as the Droid Turbo in the US. The phone is no different from its siblings and is as powerful as the Note 4 from Samsung, but much more affordable. It’s also places itself as a cheaper and more rugged alternative to the Nexus 6 which is made by the Lenovo-owned company as well.

What makes the Motorola smartphone a great pick is that it offers a 2K Super AMOLED display of 5.2 inches with Gorilla Glass protection and the fairly new 2.7GHz quad core Snapdragon 805 processor. Additionally, the handset comes with a rugged design where the rear has a textured finish and is made from DuPont Kevlar fiber, while the innards as well as the exterior have been treated to a water-repellent nano-coating.

For memory, there’s 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, but no microSD expansion. The Moto Turbo comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and has a large 3900mAh battery which can deliver up to 24 hours of usage on a single charge.
