The agriculture scientists of PARC had released four new rust resistant wheat varieties including a bio-fortified variety having 50 percent Zinc contents with the intention of providing an opportunity to the farmers to choose from these varieties and produce healthy wheat to cater to increasing nutritious food demands.
The Wheat Seminar 2015 that was kicked off from Karachi reached Mirpur Khas where scientists interacted with local farmers.
The Wheat Seminar 2015 was started in Karachi on March 06, with an aim to enable agriculture scientists to reach farmers at their fields and practically witness their success stories and problems to wheat production.
