Excise seizes documents of 477 vehicles in Lahore

LAHORE: The Excise and Taxation Department during strict action against defaulter and unregistered vehicles on roads has retained documents of 477 vehicles from different parts of the Nankana city and other parts of the district.
According to Director Motor Branch Suhail Arshad Excise is giving no space to defaulters and especially those are using their vehicles without registration. During the month of February Excise Motor branch has seized documents of 477 vehicles in Nankana Sahib. As per details available to Customs Today, Excise Motor Branch during February checked 6589 Vehicles in different towns of the district and found 477 vehicles default in token tax.
Excise Motor Branch collected million of Rupees in February in complain against defaulter vehicles.
On special direction of Director Suhail Arshad ETO Nankana Sahib Sobia malik formed special teams to check vehicles on roads. These teams established checkpoints at different roads of the district and retained documents of 477 vehicles in the month of February.
