FBR Chairman Tariq Bajwa reviews revenue targets in meeting

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Tariq Bajwa chaired an important meeting on Wednesday at the FBR House to review the revenue targets.

Inland Revenue Policy Member Shahid Asad, Inland Revenue Operations Member Muhammad Ashraf Khan and chief commissioners of Large Taxpayers Units of Lahore and Karachi participated in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the FBR chairman directed the chief commissioners to facilitate the taxpayers. He ordered them to improve the recovery of revenue, and said that the LTUs should complete the audit cases as soon as possible.

He said that a proper strategy was necessary for generation of revenue. The commissioners assured the FBR chairman of collecting maximum revenue before the budget.
