Huawei to present Honor 6 plus with 8 mp camera, 5.5 display, octa-core processor, 32 GB ROM on March 24

NEW DELHI: Huawei has said that it plans to launch Honor 6 plus Smartphone on March 24 in a tie-up with an online major in India, a country where it will spend $10 million this year to push sales of its mobile devices.

Huawei has four models in the Honor series of which two are available in India – for Rs 6,999 and Rs 17,999. It currently sells Honor series smart phones through ecommerce giant Flipkart.

The Honor 6 Plus has 8 megapixel front as well as rear cameras. It has 5.5 inch screen size, octa-core processor, internal memory up to 32 GB and expandable up to 128 GB.

The device features bionic parallel dual lens and offers a large-capacity lithium polymer battery with an energy density is up to 595Wh / L which offers a high capacity with a longer battery life. With a fully charged battery ordinary users can last over 2.81 days whereas heavy users can last over 1.25 days, the company claimed.

The company added that it will be investing $10 million in 2015 to improve its presence in the surging Indian Smartphone market, with half of the investment will be made towards establishing the ecommerce business for its Honour sub-brand.
