MANAMA: Bahrain Customs President, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, welcomed Palestinian Ambassador, Taha Mohammed Abdul Qader, in Bahrain.
In meeting, bilateral relations between two nations and topics of common interest were discussed.
The ambassador conveyed thanks and appreciation of the Palestinian leadership, headed by the President Mahmoud Abbas to Bahrain leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the support Bahrain provides to Palestine, especially the backing of Customs President who is also Deputy President of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and regional representative of North Africa and Near and Middle East countries for Palestine to join the WCO.
The ambassador presented a Medal of the Palestine President to the Customs President out of appreciation of his efforts for Palestine to join WCO.
