LONDON: It seems that Nessie, the fabled Loch Ness Monster, isn’t as camera shy as she or he was before.
Tourists walking along the shore of the loch at Urquhart Castle came face-to-face with what one of the tourists described as a “big black belly”.
“We looked and could see this big disturbance quite a way out and this big black object in the middle of it,” said Consuela Ross, 50, whose daughter and five-year-old granddaughter also witnessed this Nessie sighting.
“I took still photographs and Reyshell used her zoom as well to try and get a closer look, but it wasn’t as good as what we saw with our eyes,” Consuela said.
With Ross were her daughter, Reyshell Avellanoza, 29, and her daughter, Heather, from the Philippines. Reyshell and Heather were in Scotland visiting Consuela who’s married to a Scot named Campbell Ross.
The trio were touring Urquhart Castle, a spot long associated with sightings of the monster when they suddenly saw a huge beast emerge from beneath the surface of the lake.
They were so shocked by the sight of this beast they didn’t immediately go for their cameras to record the incredible event, said Tech Times. They did manage to shoot a video after overcoming their astonishment.
What they did record on their tablet computer were ripples on the water churned up by the passage of a large object. They said the monster dove under the waves just as they began filming, narrowly missing becoming the first persons to ever take video conclusively proving the existence of Nessie.
