SEOUL: LG has announced that it is releasing the AKA smartphone to new markets and Hong Kong will the first market outside South Korea to get the phone, followed by China, Taiwan, Singapore and Turkey. The smartphone might reach even more markets going forward, but their names haven’t been confirmed at this point.

To remind you about LG AKA, the company has created this phone with a personality and it will be released in four personas – Eggy (falls frequently in love), Wooky (impulsive), Yo-Yo (Always on a diet) and Soul (soft-hearted and music loving). According to LG, the characters’ personalities are an integral part of each phone as they are woven into wallpapers, widgets and ringtones.
