TOKYO: One Piece characters, not many match up with the Whitebeard Pirates, or the vice admiral Monkey D. Garp and his fellow Marines admirals in Akainu and Kizaru. Bandai Namco’s latest trailer shows an impressive class of characters.
Edward “Whitebeard” Newgate might no longer be part of the world as far as the One Piece series goes, but he’s a playable character in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, where you’ll get to go wild using his Gura no Mi’s destructive quake-based powers.
The second video shows Marco the Phoenix, the 1st division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, who uses his Mythical Zoan abilities to turn into a phoenix. He appears to excel at range and mobility, just as you’d expect from a character of his calibre.
Admiral Kizaru has one of the best Logia-type Devil’s Fruit abilities with the light-based Pika no Mi. He can make it rain down rays of light against his opponents and has exceptional range using various abilities.
