Lahore: Customs intelligence arrests four suspects on smuggling of notified items

LAHORE: Pakistan Customs Directorate of Investigation and Intelligence Lahore has arrested four smugglers accused for smuggling notified items including foreign originated cloth, shampoos and other items.

Official sources said that on the instruction of Director I&I Lahore Imtiaz Ahmad Khan and Additional Director Mohsin Rafiqque I&I, anti-smuggling wing Superintendent Nasir Minhas Munawar and other officials raided a bus at Motorways on tip-off available to Director Saad Atta Rabani.

Sources said the accused smugglers were attempting to smuggle illegal items from Peshawar to Lahore. FIR has been lodge against smugglers to start investigations, they added.
