KARACHI: The constant demand of quality lint despite low supply has kept the cotton market steady another day.

The price for the cotton seed in Sindh remained between Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,400 per 40kg, while in Punjab, the cotton seed rates have increased from Rs 2,000 to 2,700 per 40kg. Most of the deals could not materialise owing to higher price demanded by ginners. The Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) spot rates were unchanged at overnight level.
