30MW Tapal, 49.5MW Maste, 50MW Gul Ahmed: NTDCL sings agreements to install three 129.5MW wind power plants at Thatta

LAHORE: The National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited (NTDCL) has signed three agreements to install 129.5 MW wind power plants at Jhimpir, district Thatta.

NTDCL Managing Director, who is also holding the portfolio of General Manager CPPA, signed agreements with 30MW Tapal Wind Energy Private Limited, 49.5MW Master Wind Energy Limited and 50MW Gul Ahmed Wind Power Limited after the approval of the NTDCL Board of Directors (BoD).

CPPA Chief Engineer Mansoor Nasir, Tapal Energy CEO Adnan Tapal, Project Director Master Energy Brig Tariq Izaz, Gull Ahmad Wind Energy CEO Danish Iqbal and others were also present during the ceremony, held at WAPDA House.

The NTDCL spokesman said that these wind power plants will start productioon by the end 2016. All three wind power producers heading towards completion of their milestone i.e financial closing till 31 March 2015.
