COPENHAGEN: Canada’s Dustch Shell agreed to sale its retail and commercial marketing sites in Denmark to Canada’s Alimentation Couche-Tard.
Couche-Tard will be acquiring 315 retail sites, including 225 full-service fuel stations and several other assets. Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. has a deal to acquire Shell’s retail, commercial fuels and aviation businesses in Denmark, a move that will expand the Quebec-based company’s presence in northern Europe.
The deal includes Shell’s retail, commercial fleet, commercial fuels, aviation and connected trading and supply products businesses, which will be managed by Couche-Tard’s wholly owned subsidiary Statoil Fuel and Retail, the two companies said in separate statements.
