ISLAMABAD: In a recent development in model Ayyan Ali smuggling case, the customs officials have come with new revelations after scrutinising her personal mobile phone data.

As per details, the data acquired from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) revealed that most of the numbers dialed from Ayyan’s cell are from Dubai, where the super model was heading to before arrest in money laundering case.

It is important to mention that a cell was given to her by Khalid Malik, brother of ex-interior minister Rehman Malik, when she was brought to hospital for a medical check-up. The super model called on a number three times after her arrest from a cell phone given to her by Khalid Malik. The customs authorities also seized the cell phone later.

One of the dialed number is verified in the name of Mushtaq from Sector F-8/2, Street No 19, which is a residence of ex-President Asif Ali Zardari, it is learnt.

However, customs officials are trying to investigate further about Mushtaq and his possible contact with Ayyan Ali. Officials are now investigating data of Mushtaq’s cell phone to know who is behind him in connection to money laundering case.
