First National Bank Alaska contributes $1m in 2014

Anchorage, Alaska: Contributions made in the fourth quarter was $457,162 which pushed the total to $1,033,106 in financial support provided to local Alaska communities in 2014 by First National Bank Alaska and its employees.

It includes charitable gifts, activity sponsorships, and in-kind donations of time and talent during the past year. Financial support was given to a wide variety of health, youth, educational, civic and arts organizations in the state. Education was again a major focus of the bank’s support, with significant contributions to the University of Alaska Anchorage, Alaska Pacific University, Alaska Native Heritage Center educational outreach, the Alaska Sealife Center and the University of Alaska Foundation.
