Lava rolls out Iris 414 dual-SIM Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone with 4GB ROM, 3.2MP camera at Rs 4049

NEW DELHI: Lava mobile maker has rolled out Android 4.4 KitKat dual-SIM smartphone Iris 414 to India in Rs 4049.

The Lava Iris 414 has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The phone runs 1GHz processor and features a 3.2 megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front camera.

This budget phone comes with a 4-inch WVGA TFT display with an on-screen resolution of 480×800 pixels. The dual-SIM mobile is powered by a single-core processor that clocks a computational speed of 1GHz.

The processor is layered on top with Android 4.4.2 KitKat to offer nice computational experience on the move. The Smartphone comes wedded with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage memory.

This in-built memory can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of a micro-SD card. It has an onboard a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. The main camera has LED flash facility to take snaps even in reduced light conditions. The official website of the company states that the new budget phone is powered by a 1400mAh battery.

This power storage device for the device is capable of delivering up to 12 hours of uninterrupted talk time. The company claims this battery has higher shelf-life. The device gets internet connectivity using 3G, GPRS/EDGE and Wi-Fi options. Being the entry level phone, it does not have Bluetooth connectivity as seen in some of the budget phones from Chinese manufacturers.
