WARSAW: The Polish chemical company’s Chief Executive Pawel Jarczewski said that the company’s new propylene division will eventually increase annual sales by $529 million. The Police chemical plant, which is part of the state-controlled Grupa Azoty, said it would invest up to 1.68 billion zlotys in the propylene unit.
“By 2019, we want to create the largest propylene unit of this kind in Europe. We assume that the new investment will eventually increase the group’s revenue by about 2 billion zlotys annually, and profit by hundreds of millions,” Jarczewski told Reuters.
